The Epidemiology and Program Evaluation (EPE) branch would like to share a new brief focusing on suicides and self-harm. This report highlights trends over time across demographic groups and geography to show where intervention can be targeted in Riverside County.

- Suicide deaths were higher among males while suicide attempts were higher among females.
- Adults aged 25-64 made up a larger percentage of suicide deaths; however, adults 65+ years had the highest rate of suicide deaths in 2022.
